During my recent business trip, I found myself at Hostal Galicia Cardedeu, and I must say, it turned out to be a delightful surprise. The check-in process was smooth, and I appreciated the convenience of a keypad lock for independent access. My room, while modestly sized, was spotlessly clean and well-equipped with air conditioning and a flat-screen TV, which is always a welcome sight after a long day. This hostel’s shared bathroom facilities were not an issue at all, as I rarely crossed paths with other residents. The location, though near a major road, turned out to be quite peaceful at night, as my window did not face the bustling traffic. Plus, a coffee vending machine in the lobby meant I could indulge in a quick caffeine fix at any hour, which contributed to the overall charm of the experience. If you're seeking a budget-friendly spot just to rest your head, this place definitely fits the bill, especially for those who appreciate a clean and functional lodging. While it may not boast the extravagance of a five-star establishment, Hostal Galicia has carved out a warm niche for itself as a reliable option. Just be aware that the nearest airport is a bit of a trek—55 km to Barcelona-El Prat, but for a comfortable and uncomplicated stay, it’s worth the trip.
